Union College freshman Marlee Cooper (Bloomington, IL) recorded 20 kills in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to visiting University of the Cumberlands as she established a new single-season record.

The 5-foot-11 middle blocker now has 444 kills on the year, surpassing the previous mark 435 which was set by Angelica Varani in 2002.

Also, junior setter Amanda Bowling (Louisville, KY) became the first Lady Bulldog to reach the 3,500-assist plateau.

Bowling registered her fifth triple-double of the season with 41 assists, 15 kills and 11 digs. She now has 3,532 career assists and is the first Lady Bulldog to post 1,000 assists three times in a career.
