BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Senior Ashley Lunsford joined an exclusive club Wednesday in helping Union College to a key 77-70 Appalachian Athletic Conference victory over visiting Tennessee Wesleyan College.

Lunsford (Orlando, Ky.) netted a game-high 25 points and became the 14th member of the Lady Bulldog 1,000-point club. She is also the fifth player in program history to amass at least 1,000 points and 600 rebounds in a career. To date, she has 1,013 points and 622 rebounds in her career.

More importantly, Union won its fourth in a row to improve to 17-9 overall and 9-5 in the AAC. Tennessee Wesleyan dropped to 12-14 overall and 6-7 in conference play.

Union will travel to Covenant (Ga.) College for a non-conference game Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
