The AAC has announced the Athletes of the Week in Track and Field for this spring.

Weekend of March 13-14
Men - At the Lees McRae Invitational, Montreat junior Ben Hall ran to a second place finish and personal best in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:12.11.
Women - At the Lees McRae Invitational, Montreat's Olivia Mills (FR) won the women's 1500 meters with a time of 5:18.01
 
Weekend of March 20-21
Men - Bryan College senior Josh Bradley ran to a second place finish, national qualifier, and season best time of 1:51.89 at the Wake Forest Open.
Women - Bryan College freshman Alyssia Lindsay set school records in both the 800 meters and 1500 meters at the Wake Forest Open. Her times of 2:27.70 and 5:02.33 were also lifetime best marks.
 
Weekend of March 26-27
Men - At the Emory Relays, Union's James Fowler etched his name in the record book, crossing the finish line with a time of 10.44 in the 100m, good for first at the meet and a national qualifier.
Women - Sophomore Erika Simpson of Bryan College set a new school record in the 3000 meters with her time of 11:09.67 at the Vanderbilt Black and Gold  Invite
 
Weekend of April 2-3
Men - At the Centre Invite, Union's Andrew Johnston broke the school record in the pole vault with a jump of 12'6. The previous record was 11'7.25"
Women - At the Centre Invite, Union's Araminta (Brooke) Tyra broke the school record in the 800m by running a time of 2:37. Beating the old record of 2:42.
 
Weekend of April  9-10
Men - Austin Ellis, Austin ran the 6th fastest time in the nation for 10,000 meters with a new personal best and school record time of 31:01.52
Women - Chelsea Leavell, Chelsea won the hammer throw (37.64), discus throw (40.08), and shot put (12.12) at the Lenior-Rhyne PowerSox Invitational
