KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jeremiah McMillian of Bluefield College (Va.) has been selected as the NAIA National Baseball Player of the Week, the National Office announced Tuesday. He was selected based on performances from April 5-11. He was chosen out of a pool of conference player of the week selections among 20 conferences and independents.

McMillian, a 6-0 senior outfielder from Roanoke, Va., helped Bluefield to a 6-0 record last week. His week included a three-run home run and grand slam in the 21-10 win over UVa-Wise on April 11. He started his torrid stretch with a 5-for-6 day at the plate, which included two runs scored, one double, one homer and three RBI against Emory and Henry (Va.). He had multiple hits in five of the six games including two with four or more knocks.
 
On the week, he hit .607 (17-for-28) with six runs scored, six homers, four doubles and 19 RBI. He compiled a 1.393 slugging percentage.
