
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2010 NAIA Baseball All-Americans, as selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association (BCA) All-America Selection Committee. The All-America Teams consist of 17 members on the First Team, 17 on the Second Team and an Honorable Mention Team, which is limited to 34 players (not position specific). The Bulldogs had two representatives named, Cody Gaskill and Max Loveland.
Cody Gaskill was named on the 2010 NAIA All American First Team. Gaskill, a junior, from Petersburg, TN plays 2nd base for Tennessee Wesleyan College. He played in all 64 games of the season having 240 at bats with 94 hits and 68 runs. He finished the season with 28 doubles, 2 triples, and 21 homeruns. Gaskill led the team in homeruns as well as RBI's with a total of 94. Gaskill led the 2010 NAIA National Championship opening round in RBI's with a total of 12 in the six games the Bulldogs had to play to win. Gaskill was also named as the 2010 Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the year and the All-Conference Team.
Max Loveland was named to the Honorable Mention team. Loveland is a senior from Bradenton, FL. Loveland played in the Outfield in 64 games as well as closed 16 games as a right handed pitcher. Loveland ended the season with 97 hits (21 doubles, 5 triples, 7 homeruns). He had 49 RBIs and 76 runs scored.
