Hamilton Bennett was drafted in round 29 of the MLB draft to the New York Mets.  He is a left handed pitcher who went 7-2 with a 3.64 ERA in 82 innings as a junior.  Bennett showed his talent at Wesleyan by helping the Bulldogs to reach the Avista-NAIA World Series for the first time.  He was named on the 2010 AAC All-Conference team.  Bennett also pitched a perfect game this season on May 1st against UVA-Wise making him the 20th player in NAIA history to do so.     

In the 47th round the New York Yankees picked Frederick Lewis from Tennessee Wesleyan.  Lewis is a 6-2 left handed pitcher from Gainesville Florida.   The junior went 4-5 with a 4.19 ERA in 58 innings.  Lewis also helped the Bulldogs by pinch hitting in crucial times.  He had 6 hits with one homerun and one double during the season.
