The AAC Commissioner's Office announced the signing of a multi-sport three-year agreement with the Kingsport, TN, Convention and Visitor's Bureau for the 2010-2011 season through the 2013-2014 season. Championship events included in the agreement are the volleyball, softball and baseball tournaments.

"We are very pleased to arrive at this agreement with the Kingsport C&VB to continue to sponsor three of our major tournaments," said Commissioner John Sullivan. They have done a great job with our baseball tournament for several years and our players, coaches, and fans offer high praise of the quality of the tournament. They have partnered with the Kingsport Marriott and Meadowview Resort and Convention Center for the past two years to offer a first-class volleyball tournament. Last year was our first for softball and that went well, too. We see improvements each year and look forward to working with Executive Director Jed Teague and Associate Executive Director Frank Lett for many years to come."
