
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Once again, Milligan (Tenn.) College appears to be the team to beat in the Appalachian Athletic Conference in women's cross country.
The Lady Buffaloes have won the AAC championship the past seven years and will be seeking their eighth conference title in 2010. Milligan finished 11th at the NAIA National Championship Meet last year.
After Milligan, Bryan (Tenn.) College and Tennessee Wesleyan College are next in line in second and third with Montreat (N.C.) College fourth, Union (Ky.) College fifth, Reinhardt (Ga.) University sixth and Bluefield (Va.) College seventh.
The 2010 AAC Cross Country Championship Meet is set for Nov. 6 in Black Mountain, N.C. Montreat will host the event.
