ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Bryan (Tenn.) College is favored it lead the pack in Appalachian Athletic Conference in men's cross country this year, according to the league's preseason rankings announced Monday.

The Lions won two of the last three conference championships, including the 2009 title. Bryan posted a 27th-place showing at the NAIA National Championship last year.

After Bryan, Milligan (Tenn.) College is a close second with Montreat (N.C.) College, Tennessee Wesleyan College and Union (Ky.) College rounding out the top five. Reinhardt (Ga.) University is projected to finish sixth with Bluefield (Va.) College coming in seventh.

The 2010 AAC Cross Country Championship Meet is set for Nov. 6 in Black Mountain, N.C. Montreat will host the event.
