
ATHENS, Tenn. - Union (Ky.) senior Ashley Hall earned the Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Year award, the league announced Thursday.
Hall, who also was named the Golden Boot winner for scoring the most goals, has tallied 20 goals and 42 points on the season.
Helen Collins of Tennessee Wesleyan was named the AAC Offensive Player of the Year, while Patricia Nardy of Union and Heather Crumplen of Milligan (Tenn.) were tabbed AAC Co-Defensive Players of the Year. Kelly Crew of Tennessee Wesleyan collected AAC Newcomer of the Year, and Milligan's Lisa Buckley was named the AAC Coach of the Year.
Bryan (Tenn.) won the AAC Champions of Character team award.
Milligan placed five players on the All-AAC First Team, while Union had four, Tennessee Wesleyan three and Reinhardt (Ga.) and Bryan one apiece.
