KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Bryan (Tenn.) maintains a top-20 spot in the latest 2011 NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Wednesday, as the Lions landed at No. 20.

Bryan collected 231 total points, putting them three points better than No. 21 Embry-Riddle (Fla.).

Also representing the Appalachian Athletic Conference is Milligan (Tenn.) which received 20 total points to put it 31st.

Reigning national champion Southern Oregon landed at No. 1 in the  NAIA  Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Raiders were awarded 16 first-place votes for 552 points and its eighth-straight No. 1-ranking.

The top-six teams maintained their position from the Preseason Poll. Second-ranked Wayland Baptist (Texas) tallied 543 points and a pair of first-place nods, followed by No. 3 Oklahoma Christian with 521 points. No. 4 Shorter (Ga.) once again earned first-place votes, earning two, for 506 points. British Columbia rounds out the top five with 492 points. Shawnee State (Ohio) checked in at No. 6.
