KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the second week in a row, Bryan (Tenn.) is ranked No. 22 in the latest edition of the NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Wednesday.
Bryan received 157 total points, putting the Lions 38 behind No. 21 Embry-Riddle (Fla.) and 10 ahead of No. 23 Eastern Oregon.
Also representing the Appalachian Athletic Conference is Milligan (Tenn.), which garnered one total point to place it 41st.
Wayland Baptist (Texas) maintained its spot at No. 1 in the third edition of the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Pioneers tallied 18 first-place votes for 559 points to spend their second week on top of the poll. Not only did Wayland Baptist maintain its spot among the Top 25, but 16 other teams retained their previous ranking.
The top-five remained intact with No. 2 Oklahoma Christian (529 points), No. 3 Shorter (Ga.) (521 points), No. 4 British Columbia (506 points) and No. 5 Concordia (Ore.) (494 points). Shorter collected the two remaining first-place votes.
