
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Kaleigh Clarke of Reinhardt (Ga.) and Helen Weber of Union (Ky.) are the Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players
of the Week, respectively, the league announced Monday.
Clarke, a freshman goalkeeper from Woodstock, Ga., played all 180 minutes in goal for Reinhardt in its two games last week, making 12 saves and allowing just one goal, which came on a penalty kick. In the Lady Eagles' 3-0 AAC win at Tennessee Wesleyan, she recorded her third shutout of the season with 11 saves.
Reinhardt is 8-2-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

Weber, a freshman from Marburg, Germany, tallied the game-winner in the 86th minute, as the Lady Bulldogs edged Bryan 1-0 on Wednesday. The goal was her ninth of the year, which is the second best mark on the team, and the conference.
Union is 7-4 overall and 2-2 in the AAC.
