ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Andrew Stewart of Milligan (Tenn.) and Marc Miller of Union (Ky.) are the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This marks the second time Stewart received the defensive honors this season.

Stewart, a senior defender from New Castle upon Tyne, England, provided excellent guidance for the Buffaloes in their 2-0 victory over Bryan. Milligan allowed 12 shots with only 4 going on goal.

The Buffaloes are 10-4 overall and 6-0 in conference play.

Miller, a senior forward from Winchester, Ky., scored the eventual game-winner in the 62nd minute, lifting Union past 24th-ranked Tennessee Wesleyan on Tuesday, 2-1. He added an assist in UC's 4-0 victory at Berea on Saturday. For the year, Miller is Union's offensive leader, scoring seven goals, and recording eight assists for a 23 point total.

Union is 9-6-2 overall and 2-3-1 in the AAC.
