KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Austin Ellis of Milligan (Tenn.) and Bryson Harper of Bryan (Tenn.) each earned NAIA All-American honors after placing in the top 30 finishers at the 56th Annual NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championships held Nov. 19 at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Wash.

Ellis placed ninth overall with a time of 24:18, while Harper was a second behind him in 10th overall with a time of 24:19.

Ellis was one of four Milligan runners competing, while Harper helped lead Bryan to an 11th-place finish. Jason McLeod and Connor Hatfield helped out with 30th- and 43rd-place finishes for the Lions.

Also representing the Appalachian Athletic Conference was Hilary Cheruiyot of Tennessee Wesleyan, who placed 156 overall with a time of 26:11.
