ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Andrew Cobb of Reinhardt (Ga.) is the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is Cobb's first weekly award for the season.

The junior from Calhoun, Ga., went 1-1 at No. 2 doubles and 1-1 at No. 3 singles as Reinhardt played two non-conference matches on the road last week. His losses came against opponents from No. 25-ranked Shorter (Ga.).

On the year, Cobb is 5-4 in singles play and 4-5 in doubles. 

The Eagles are 2-7 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
