NIOTA, Tenn. - SCAD-Atlanta posted a combined score of 343 in the first round to lead all Appalachian Athletic Conference women's golf teams at the 2012 Tennessee Wesleyan Invitational/Fall AAC Tournament. The event is being held at the Springbrook Golf and Country Club. 

In the overall team tournament, Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) leads SCAD-Atlanta by three shots (340). Sitting behind SCAD-Atlanta in third place is Union, at 344, while Tennessee Wesleyan and St. Andrews are in tied for fourth place overall at 348. 

Rounding out the team leaderboard is Bryan in sixth with a combined score of 350, Milligan in seventh at 361, Reinhardt in eighth with a 380, and Columbia in ninth at 392.

On the indvidual medalist leaderboard, St. Andrews' Laura Kinsman sits in first place after day one after firing a 77 (36-41) on the par 72 course. Bryan's Audrey Nelson is in second after posting a 78 (39-39), while Sadiyya Gillespie of St. Andrews and Brittany Zins of Union are tied for third after both shooting 79.
