ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Bryan swept the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Soccer weekly honors as Rasheed Malcolm was named the AAC Defensive Player of the Week and Daniel Branley the AAC Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

The Lions, ranked No. 22 in the NAIA, went 2-0 last week with conference wins over Tennessee Wesleyan and Montreat. Bryan is 7-1-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the AAC.

A junior defender from Waterford, Jamaica, Malcolm anchored the Lions defense which allowed only two goals last week. On the year, Bryan is allowing an average of 0.8 goals per game. Morgan does have two goals on the year.

Branley scored a goal and had two assists last week. The sophomore forward from Newcastle, England, netted a goal and assist in the 3-1 win over Tennessee Wesleyan including the game-winner off a diving header.

For the year, Branley has three goals and two assists for eight points.
