

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Tennessee Wesleyan swept the Appalachian Athletic Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week awards with Robbiccaa Williams earning the women's honor and Joseph Mullen the men's, the league announced Monday.
Tennessee Wesleyan competed in the Foothills Invite, which was hosted by NCAA Division I Jacksonville State (Ala.).
Mullen placed fourth in the men's 8K race in a field of 67 runners, posting a time of 26:11. He helped the Bulldogs to finish fourth out of nine teams.

Williams crossed the line 17th overall out of 87 runners, recording a 5K time of 20:17. She and the Lady Bulldogs finished ninth out of 12 teams.
