ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Jordan Devlin of Bryan and John Carrier of Tennessee Wesleyan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the first award for both Devlin and Carrier. However, Bryan and Tennessee Wesleyan have dominated the men's soccer weekly honors as the two schools account for 11 of the 14 awards handed out.

Devlin, a senior from Falkirk, Scottland, helped the Lions to a conference win on Wednesday as he played well defensively and then served a great ball into the box that led to the game-winning goal. Then on Saturday, he played very well as the Lions' defense held host and No. 2 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.)  to just one shot on frame for the entire 90 minutes.

Devlin has one goal and two assists on the season as Bryan is 10-2-1 overall and 6-0-1 in conference play.
