DAYTON, Tenn. - Ninth-seeded St. Andrews recorded the first upset of the 2012 Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Tournament as it edged host and No. 8 Bryan 1-0 on Wednesday.

The Lady Knights received a late goal to push their way past the Lady Lions for the tournament win. Hayley Peck scored in the 77th minute to put St. Andrews up 1-0 as it held on for the victory.

Rebecca Harper had the assist.

Brittany Roberts recorded four saves in notching the shutout win for St. Andrews. Bryan's Stephanie Gagnon had nine saves in the loss.

Bryan ends the year 3-14-1 overall, while St. Andrews is now 5-8-3.

St. Andrews will now face No. 2 seed Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday at 12 p.m. in the quarterfinal round.
