King College freshmen Joseph Pair led his team at the Lenoir Rhyne Invitational with a 8k time of 27:51, good enough for ninth overall. Tennessee Wesleyan junior Laura Womac finished second at the Overhill Invitational held at Hiwassee college finishing the 5k course in 20:57.

The Appalachian Athletic Conference is an eleven member conference sanctioned by the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics).
