Bryan's Renfroe breaks school record.

Bryan College's Robin Renfroe, a sophomore Middle Blocker from Northport, AL, set a new record this past weekend in Bryan's 3-0 victory over Bluefield College (30-21, 30-9, 30-14).

Renfroe hit 16 for 22, with no errors.  Her .727 hitting percentage shatters the previous record set last year of .591 set by graduate Kim Barlow.  Bryan's Coach Leo Sayles commented, "Robin has been incredibly hot over the past 5 or 6 matches, but this was unexpected.  She was unstoppable.  She could have set a PR for kills in a match had we not removed her early in game 3.  I had to confirm the stats with our video to be sure.  Robin's match was the best hitting display I have seen since I have been at Bryan!" Robin has hit over .400 in 4 out of Bryan's last 5 matches, and has established a new statistical category for Bryan College Volleyball - matches over .400 hitting percentage (8 total). Renfroe has guided the Lions to a 3-0 week, and has hit .324 during the Lions 15-3 run dating back to a Sept. 6 loss to Union College. Robin has had 14 matches with double-digit kills.
