	Virginia Intermont wins Region XII soccer! Posted by Will Stern - Sat, Nov 4, 2006 - [Women's Soccer] - Viewed 782 times In the finals of the women's soccer Region XII tournament Virginia Intermont College defeated King College 1-0. Virginia Intermont will now advance to the NAIA national tournament in Kansas. King College upset top seed and 12th ranked Covenant College in the Region XII women's soccer semi-finals 1-0 in overtime. In the other semi-final Virginia Intermont College defeated Asbury College 2-0. King will play Virginia Intermont College at 2 pm today for the Region XII championship. The winner advances to the NAIA National Championships. The game will be played at Covenant.
