Virginia Intermont and Covenant in the NAIA women's national soccer tournament

AAC champion Virginia Intermont College is seeded 17th and will play on Wednesday at 1:30 pm EST vs Tiffin College of Ohio.

Covenant College is seeded 9th and will play 8th seed Westmont College of California on Friday at 1 pm EST.


NAIA Press release

OLATHE, Kan. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the bracket for the 23rd Annual NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship.  The 20-team tournament, hosted by the Olathe Chamber of Commerce and Park University (Mo.), is November 15-21 and will be played at the College Boulevard Activity Center.  All times Central Standard Time.

Defending champion Martin Methodist College (Tenn.) comes into the tourney ranked #3 and is joined by former champions Westmont College (Calif.) and Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.), who are ranked #8 and #2, respectively. Azusa Pacific University (Calif.) enters the tournament ranked #1, after being ranked #1 in the NAIA National Ratings the last half of the season.
