The Covenant College Lady Scots lost to Westmont College on Friday 3-1 in their first-ever appearance in the NAIA national soccer tournament in Kansas.


Westmont scored in the 27th minute, but Covenant answered early in the second half on a direct kick by Ashley Wood.

Westmont would put two more goals in before the end of the game, the first coming right after Covenant's score.

The Lady Scots finish the season 15-4-0.
