Virginia Intermont College senior, Ida Sammons needed 2 points going into Tuesday night's contest with Milligan College to reach her 1000th point milestone.

She wasted no time in scoring those points by making the first bucket of the evening and to finish the game with 17 points. After the first 20 games of the season Ida is averaging 18.3 points per game. Ida is a Sports Management major.
