ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Jacob Price of Point and Todd Fidler of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the seventh edition of the weekly honors for the 2017 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 16.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Jacob Price - Point - Sr. - Hereford, U.K.

  • Notched 12 saves and allowed 2 goal in 2 games last week.
  • Shut out Milligan 2-0 in recording 7 save.
  • Made 5 saves in 97 minutes of a 2-1, overtime loss to Georgia Southwestern.
  • This is his first weekly honor this season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

Todd Fidler - Reinhardt - Jr. - Peachtree City, Ga.

  • Tallied 2 goals.
  • Posted both goals in a 3-1 win at Union.
  • This is his first weekly award this season.
