Lewis' big week on the boards leads to national award!
NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Week

OLATHE, Kan. - Montreat (N.C.) College's Timothy Lewis has
been named NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Week after
averaging a double-double - 17.5 points and 18.0 rebounds - in a pair
of Montreat wins in the Appalachain Athletic Conference.
Lewis opened the week with 16 points and 20 rebounds in a 74-68 win over CovenantCollege,
following the performance with 19 points and 16 rebounds in an 83-67
win over King. In the win over King, Lewis was a perfect 8-of-8 from
the floor and 3-of-3 at the foul line, finishing the week 9-of-11 at
the stripe and 13-of-17 from the floor.
Lewis,
who finished 82 percent from the free-throw line, had three assists in
the win over Covenant to total four, while both of his steals came
against King.
