Montreat College Women's Golf Team wins NAIA Region XII Golf Championship

In their first year as a program, the Montreat College Women's Golf Team wins the NAIA Region XII Golf Championship.
( Montreat, NC) -- The Montreat College Women's Golf Team won the NAIA Region XII Golf Championship with a final round score of 366, on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at the Meadowlinks Golf Course in Ft. Gaines, Georgia.  With the win, the Lady Cavaliers finish the regular season being the #1 rank team in Region XII of the NAIA.  Amber Cody-(Jr. Marion, NC) finished 4th in the tournament to achieve All-NAIA Region XII.

1).  Montreat College-367-354-366=1087
2).  Brescia University-(Owensboro, Kentucky) - 369-390-348=1107
3).  Tennessee Wesleyan College-(Athens, Tennessee) - 374-366-382=1122

1)  Megan Cox-Tennessee Wesleyan College - 81-82-87=250
2). Dudley McKenna-Union College - 81-82-94=257
3). Gabrielle Murphy-Brescia University - 88-91-86=265
4). Amber Cody-Montreat College - 90-86-91=267
5). Stacy Curl-Brescia University - 89-92-87=268.
