Union and UVa-Wise are the top two seeds for the upcoming NAIA Region XII Softball Tournament, which will be held Wednesday and Thursday at the Athens Regional Park in Athens, Tenn.

Union is the top seed, while UVa-Wise is the second seed. Milligan and Virginia Intermont are seeds No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletics Conference is represented by Spalding and Brescia, which are the fifth and sixth seeds.

The tournament will open Wednesday with No. 3 Milligan taking on No. 6 Brescia at 10 a.m. and with No. 4 Virginia Intermont facing No. 5 Spalding at 10 a.m. Union will take on the Virginia Intermont-Spalding winner at 12 p.m., while UVa-Wise will face the Milligan-Brescia winner at 12 p.m.

The double-elimination tournament will conclude with the championship game slated for Thursday at 12 p.m.
