Virginia Intermont is proud to welcome the latest addition to the Athletic Department

Grant Dorn of Alexandria, VA has been named the assistant baseball coach. Grant holds an in-depth history of baseball, after graduating from North Carolina State University, where he played both baseball and football; he was drafted by the Montreal Expos and pitched for 3 years. He was traded to the Houston Astros and spent 2 years there after which he played and coached in the Independent leagues.

“Grant is truly an asset to the baseball program here at VI and we are excited about the 2008 season”, stated head coach Josh Swain.
