BANNER ELK, N.C. - The King College Track and Field teams swept both team titles at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Track Championships on Saturday at Lee-McRae College in Banner Elk, N.C.
On the women's side King finished 35 points ahead of runner-up Milligan and the men out scored Union by 50 points to take the men's title.
"It was definitely a team effort as every athlete scrambled for any point possible. Many athletes volunteered for events they had not competed in all year in order to take home the team title and help with the schools battle to win the AAC All-Sports trophy. It was 'all for one and one for all' and a great day for King College Track & Field," stated Head Coach Tom Murrell.
Individual results Please note the top three athletes in each event are AAC All Conference.
