AAC Female Athlete of the Week: Teresa Ayers, Virginia Intermont
Teresa Ayers, a sophomore from Indianapolis, Ind., has been named AAC female Athlete of the Week. Ayers, running in her first 5K of the season,competed at the 33rd Annual Furman Invitational. She finished fifth of field of 200 runners with a personal best time of 19:21. Her time ranks her as the second fastest runner in the AAC so far this season.
