Union plays Mobile in the Men's Tennis National Championship Field

Kansas City, MO. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released its list of qualifiers for the 2008 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship, scheduled for May 12-16 in Mobile, AL.

No. 9 Union College will open play against Mobile (AL) at 1 pm (CDT) in the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship.

The championship will be played at the Mobile Tennis Center, with No. 1 Auburn Montgomery (AL) looking to defend its 2007 national championship. In all, 24 teams will converge on Mobile to play for the championship, as 14 of the 24 squads received automatic bids and 10 more made the tournament as at-large selections.


The official tournament bracket along with match times has been released.

The following is a list of the 24 participating teams in alphabetical order and how each qualified for the national championship.
