Bristol TN- King College won 2-1 over Covenant College, claiming the Appalachian Athletic Conference championship and a NAIA National Tournament berth. 

The Lady Tornado fought a tough first half battle against the Lady Scots, closing the first half at a zero-zero tie.  Covenant got a jump start to the second half when they went up 1 zero on an Anna Lueck goal.  It was in the 65 minute mark that junior Emma Wells would connect a corner kick to senior striker Lisa Forgionewho headed the ball in to tie the game at one. 

The Lady Tornado would strike again in the 78 minute, when sophomore Jena Rickard would find the back of the net off another Emma Wells corner kick.  

The Lady Tornado will play the first round of the national tournament on November 22, with the location to be determined.
