Virginia Intermont College's Director of Athletics, Chris Holt is proud to announce Lauren Kinser as the new Head Volleyball coach.

Lauren is a 2007 graduate of King College and played volleyball for four years under Susie Toomey. During those four years Kinser led the Tornado to four consecutive conference titles, three regional appearances, one regional title, and a NAIA national tournament appearance.

As a senior at King, Lauren was named an NAIA Champion of Character and was an All American Academic recipient. Lauren earned her BA in Marketing and Management in 2007 and was employed by Virginia Intermont College as a resident director/activities coordinator where she is also involved in VI's chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

"We are thrilled with her decision to join our staff and look forward to seeing her energy, enthusiasm, and spirit shared with our team members and department," stated Chris Holt. Lauren and her husband Dane reside in Bristol, Virginia.
