PINEVILLE, Ky. - Union College used a victory in the Bulldog Spring Invitational which helped secure the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season title. The Bulldogs watched as two players earned All-AAC honors and another player added a Top-5 finish in the invitational.

This is first AAC title for Union since the 2003 squad won the conference tournament. Current head coach Eric Wyrick was a member of the squad and earned All-AAC honors as a freshman.

Union finished the four rounds of AAC play with a total of 1,214. King (Tenn.) College entered the Bulldog Spring Invitational with the conference lead, however the Tornado were overtaken by Union. The AAC regular-season honors were based on the two rounds from the Bulldog Spring Invitational and the Tornado Invitational played in October at the Country Club of Bristol (Tenn.) hosted by King.

Jordan Hogue (Stanford, Ky.) finished with All-Bulldog Spring Invitational honors after a final-round 73. He finished in a tie for fourth along with Josh Bamberger from King (Tenn.) College. Hogue's one-over-par performance was the second-lowest round of the day.

Senior Sam Lee (Knoxville, Tenn.) posted a 79 Tuesday to help secure a spot as an All-AAC team member. He finished the invitational in a tie for 8th, but was third in the conference standings.

Josh Goddard (Mt. Olivet, Ky.) and Magnus Lundberg (Stockholm, Sweden) both shot 80 in the final round.

Adam LaTulippe (Hamilton, Ohio) might have slipped in the final round with an 81, however he held on to finish in a two-way tie for fourth in the AAC standings.

In the Bulldog Invitational team standings, Union held onto the opening-round lead with a 312 Tuesday. The Bulldogs finished with a two-round total of 615, two shots ahead of Walters State (Tenn.)
