KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union College moved up a spot in the second regular season edition of the NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 poll, released Tuesday by the organization.

Union garnered seven points which has the squad in a tie for 40th with Lee (Tenn.) University. The Lady Bulldogs bumped up from 41st last week in which the squad received five points.

The Lady Bulldogs' record currently stands at 5-2 overall with a 2-0 Appalachian Athletic Conference record after a 3-0 win Tuesday over Virginia Intermont College.

The Lady Bulldogs were the only team from the AAC to make the poll.

The Top-7 teams remain the same, with Fresno Pacific (Calif.) University atop the poll after collecting all 24 first-place votes. Concordia (Calif.) University, California Baptist University and Columbia (Mo.) College remain in spots two to four, respectively. Northwestern (Iowa) College rounds out the Top-5, followed by Georgetown (Ky.) College and Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) University.

The next poll will be released Sept. 22.

Union returns to action Thursday with another home AAC contest against Tennessee Wesleyan College at 7 p.m.
