2012 AAC Volleyball Tournament

Tournament Format: Ten-team tournament. Single-elimination through the quarterfinals, and double-elimination during the semifinal and championship rounds.

AAC Volleyball Awards

Bryan is the regular-season champion and the No. 1 seed. There was a four-way tie for the No. 2 seed between Montreat, Milligan, Union and Virginia Intermont. All four teams split with one another, but Montreat won the tie-breakers over the other three since it swept Milligan, scored more total points than Union (186-185) and Virginia Intermont (139-114), making Montreat the No. 2. Milligan is the third seed since it defeated Union 3-1 (Union won 3-2 over Milligan) and swept Virginia Intermont (Virginia Intermont won 3-1 over Milligan). Union is the fourth seed because it outscored Virginia Intermont 212-197 in the two matches since Union and Virginia Intermont both defeated each other 3-2. The other tie was between Tennessee Wesleyan and Reinhardt for the No. 7 seed since Tennessee Wesleyan swept Reinhardt.
