NAIA Soccer Men and Women's Cross Country The 2008 Appalachian Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships will be held at Sycamore Shoals on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The men's 8K race kicks off the event at 9:15 a.m., while the women's 5K follows at 10:15 a.m.

Volleyball College Volleyball Championship Coming to KingsportKINGSPORT, Tenn. - The 2009 Appalachian Athletic Conference Volleyball Championships will take place for the first time in Kingsport this November 14 - 15 at MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort and Convention Center. It is also the first time that MeadowView will host a volleyball tournament.
King College enters the AAC Tournament with the No. 1 seed after going 17-1. King is the defending AAC Tournament champion. Bryan College owns the second seed and Union College comes in as the third seed. The winner of this year's AAC Tournament earns an automatic bid to the NAIA Volleyball National Championship Tournament.
The tournament will kick off at 9 a.m. on Friday morning, with the last game starting at approximately 7 p.m. Play will resume at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning and the championship game will be played at 2 p.m. or 4:30 p.m., depending on number of losses for the final teams.
The cost of admission for students is $5 per day and general admission is $7 per day. A weekend pass is also available for $12.
