Conference Sports Information Director: The Appalachian Athletic Conference is seeking to fill the position of Conference Sports Information Director effective June 2010. The part-time position is described below. The Conference SID is an agent of the Conference, as defined in the AAC Constitution and Bylaws, and reports to the Commissioner. A bachelor's degree and experience in collegiate sports information and website management are prerequisites. Interested individuals should send a completed resume along with references to:

Internship. The Appalachian Athletic Conference is looking for highly motivated men and women to serve as intern Assistant Tournament Directors for the new academic year. Graduate or undergraduate students with backgrounds in sport management, communications, and/or marketing are highly encouraged to apply.

The Appalachian Athletic Conference office is located in Asheville, NC. We are affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and represent institutions located regionally in Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and North Carolina. Working in a team environment, we provide the highest quality service to our member institutions. Students completing their internship experience with us will work directly with the Sport Chair on a variety of assignments associated with fall, winter, or spring championship tournaments/meets. Internships may be completed for academic credit provided prior coordination with the student's institution.
