High School Career:  Played for Morning Star Christian Academy…Team won National Association of Christian Athletes Tournament Championship.

College Career: Member of junior varsity team during 2006-07 season.

Favorite Bible Verse:  Philippians 2:14-15—“Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.”

Favorite Bible Character (other than Jesus):  David

Future Plans: Some kind of ministry work—maybe in Juvenile Detention Centers or police departments or in public relations.

Why I chose Bryan College: “I loved the emphasis that Bryan placed on the Christian worldview.  I also chose Bryan because of the excellent academics and the many available scholarships.”

Coach’s Comment:   “Galyn will have an opportunity to compete for a varsity spot this season after playing J.V. last season.  Her size and experience could be plus to our program.  It is obvious that she has potential.  We look forward to watching her develop this season.”
