Coach Rogers is in her second year at Covenant College, and is building the brand new Lady Scot softball program that will play its first season of intercollegiate competition this year, after competing as a junior varsity club team last year. Rogers joined the Covenant staff after an illustrious playing career at Carson-Newman College. After a high school career at nearby Ridgeland High School in Rossville, Georgia where she was a three-time All North Georgia player, an All-State honoree, a North-South Georgia All-Star game selection, and a member of Ridgeland’s first regional championship team, she headed off to Carson-Newman where she experienced more on-field success. At Carson-Newman Rogers set the all-time record for home runs and walks, was a two-time South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year, a three-time All-SAC honoree at first base, a two-time All-SAC tournament team honoree, and a member of two SAC regular season championship teams and one SAC tournament championship squad. Rogers is single and lives in Rossville, Georgia.
