13 School Represent AAC in NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup Standings
WALESKA, Ga. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) is well-represented in the final standings of the NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup, as 13 teams made the list.
NACDA announced the final results on June 9.
The AAC tied the Heart of America Conference and the Cascade Collegiate Conference for the most schools to appear in the standings with all three leagues placing 13.
Points were awarded based on a team's finish in the NAIA national championship tournaments.
Milligan leads the AAC contingent as it placed 17th overall, amassing 629.25 total points. Montreat, Tennessee Wesleyan each placed in the top 70, checking in at 51st and 62nd, respectively. Reinhardt, Truett McConnell, and Pikeville all finished in the top 100 at 86th, 88th, and 97th, respectively.
The other AAC schools making the standings are Johnson (108th), SCAD Atlanta (127th), Bryan (139th), Brenau (146th), Columbia International (146th), Spartanburg Methodist (154th), and Union Commonwealth (155th).
