Week 2: AAC Baseball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Tanner Moylan of Bryan and Kaleb Podger of Point are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the second edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 6.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Tanner Moylan - Bryan - Senior - Chattanooga, Tenn..
- Allowed 2 runs, 1 earned in a 13-2, complete-game victory over Milligan.
- Struck out 9 in 7 innings of work.
- Allowed 6 hits and walked 1.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Kaleb Podger - Point - Junior - Columbus, Ga.
- Batted .579 in helping Point go 3-1 on the week.
- Had 3 home runs, 8 RBI, and 9 runs scored.
- Had 4 doubles and posted a 1.263 slugging percentage.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
