Week 6: AAC Baseball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Cole Brown of Point and Tucker Zdunich of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the sixth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 3.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Cole Brown - Point - Senior - Flomaton, Ala.
- Struck out 12 in 9 innings of work in a 10-1 win over Kentucky Christian.
- Allowed 1 earned run on 6 hits and 1 walk.
- Earned the complete-game victory.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Tucker Zdunich - Reinhardt - Junior - High River, Alberta, Canada
- Batted .688 in helping Reinhardt to a 4-0 record on the week.
- Belted 5 home runs and lined 3 doubles in posting a 1.813 slugging percentage.
- Drove in 10 runs and scored 12 times as well.
- Blasted 3 home runs in a 14-1 win at Bluefield.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
