Week 8: AAC Baseball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Sam Rochard of Tennessee Wesleyan and Logan Hullette of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the eighth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 17.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Sam Rochard - Tennessee Wesleyan - Junior - Williamsburg, Va.
- Struck out 7 in picking up the win in a 3-0 game against Point.
- Allowed 1 hit and no walks in 6 innings of work.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Logan Hullette - Milligan - Senior - Church Hill, Tenn.
- Went 10-for-10 at the plate in helping Milligan to a 2-0 record on the week.
- Posted back-to-back 5-for-5 games.
- Drove in 5 runs and scored 2 times as well.
- Lined 3 doubles on the week for a 1.400 slugging percentage.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
