TWU Picked to Capture 2026 Baseball Championship

WALESKA, Ga. - Tennessee Wesleyan is the favorite to win the 2026 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Championship, according to the AAC Coaches' Preseason Poll released Tuesday.

The baseball coaches of the AAC voted.

Tennessee Wesleyan received 10 first-place votes for a total of 131 voting points to claim the top spot. The Bulldogs won the 2025 tournament championship.

Reinhardt picked up a first-place vote for 118 points to land second. The Eagles won the 2024 regular-season championship with a 24-6 league record.

Johnson also garnered a first-place vote to land third with 115 points. Milligan (104 points) and Bryan (88 points) round out the top five.

The top 10 teams in the conference will advance to the 2026 AAC Tournament, which is set for April 28-May 2.
