Week 1: AAC Baseball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Justin Jackson of Tennessee Wesleyan and Josh Shelly of Tennessee Wesleyan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 9.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Justin Jackson - Tennessee Wesleyan - Senior
- Carried a no-hitter through 6 innings, finishing with 1 hit and 1 walk in 6 2/3 innings.
- Struck out 8.

AAC Player of the Week
Josh Shelly - Tennessee Wesleyan - Senior
- Batted .286 in helping Tennessee Wesleyan go 4-0 on the week.
- All 4 of his hits went for extra bases, with a double, 2 triples, and a home run.
- Drove in 7 runs and scored 5 times.
- Posted a slugging percentage of .857.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
